The Lamcoat Range of Laminating and Coating Resins

Lamcoat 17 - a heat reactivated polyurethane for bonding many polymers and metals where intermediate treatment is required before final assembly. Details

Lamcoat 32 - used with one of our range of polyisocyanates for bonding polyesters to metals. The cured bond has good resistance to high temperatures and moisture. Details

Lamcoat 35 - good priming and wetting properties. A general-purpose adhesive for bonding polyesters when cross-linked with a polyisocyanate. Details

Lamcoat 80 - solvent free linear polyester showing good adhesion to many polymers and metals. Frequently used for soft-feel cover coats and protective pots for cabling. Details

Lamcoat 89 - a top all round performer with numerous strengths.

Cross-linked with a polycyclic isocyanate for laminating a wide range of polymers and metals.

Used with linear polyisocyanates as a protective covercoat.

Widely used to bond inert fillers as part of decorative or primer inks.

This formulation demonstrates good priming properties for many metals and is often specified for high quality decorative or protective finishes. Details

The Isobond Range of Reactive Hot-Melt Resins

Isobond 14 - a reactive hot melt specifically designed to laminate PVC. Bonds strongly to uPVC as well as many plasticised PVCs. Combines the instant grab of a hot melt with the ultimate strength of an isocyanate based 2-pack without the problems of solvents. The ideal solution to many high speed assembly needs. Details

Isobond 27 - a reactive hot melt based on linear polymer precursors. An excellent general purpose adhesive which bonds strongly to a wide range of flexible and rigid substrates. Combines the instant grab of a hot melt with the ultimate strength of an isocyanate based 2-pack without the disadvantages of solvent based systems. The ideal solution to many high speed assembly needs. Details

The Diiso Range of Polyisocyanates

Diiso 30 - a cyclic isocyanate pre-polymer that is used where high speed bonding with good green strength is desired. Pot life typically 4 to 6 hours. Details

Diiso 31 - linear polyisocyanate based on IPDI. Approved for some indirect food contact applications. Adhesives based on this isocyanate show good light stability and extended pot life. Details

Diiso 301 - an isocyanate blend to combine optimum pot life, green strength, cured strength and cure time. Pot life is generally >8 hours and final cure 14 to 28 days according to ambient temperatures. Green strength is typically >30% of final strength. Details

Diiso 47 - a TMDI based polyisocyanate. Fast curing providing good stability to heat and light. Adhesives based on this isocyanate with our Lamcoat 89 show excellent temperature stability and can be used to manufacture copper to polyester laminates for printed circuits which are able to withstand solder bath temperatures for several seconds.
