Re-Packaging

Biodeg have a long and well-deserved reputation for fast response and the careful handling of difficult materials.

Current repackaging processes include:

Filling drums from bulk - We have facilities to receive road tankers, ISO tanks, rail top fill/empty tanks.

Filling bulk tanks from drums - when you can only get it in drums but need it in bulk: let us take the hassle away.

Specials - IBCs or Bulk Bags filled to the exact weight for your process.

Blending and repacking - we have blending vessels from 5,000 to 40,000 litres which act as temporary holding tanks for out of schedule loads, blending vessels for bulk and drum stock and dissolution vessels to provide you with exactly the solution your process needs.

Small Packs - 25 litre packs are filled routinely, 5 litre to 0.5 litre packs need a longer lead time.

Solids Repackaging - we repackage distressed or damaged bags, fill small packs from bulk bags, bulk bags from small packs and 'specials' - bulk bags and powder IBCs filled to your exact weight for process demands.

Current products in process include:

Polymers with melting points in excess of 150°c

Odorous chemicals including acrylates, sulphides and butanal.

High viscosity liquids up to 10,000 cps. Specials to 100,000 cps.

Hazardous materials including highly flammable liquids and solids as well as toxic and corrosive substances.

Phenol, substituted phenols and cresols are handled routinely in bulk and drums both as intermediates to the chemical industry and also as formulated products into UK and export markets.

Other problematic processes include the dilution of lauryl ether sulphates in bulk and drums.

Not every customer needs a full load in one delivery.
