Phenol Handling

Biodeg have extensive experience in the handling of phenol.

Phenol can be stored in its molten state in dedicated tankage. The product can then be made into phenol hydrates or, in a process unique to Biodeg, it can be converted to crystals to allow for easier addition to formulations that require the characteristics of phenol.

Phenol, substituted phenols and cresols are handled routinely in bulk and drums both as intermediates to the chemical industry and also as formulated products into UK and export markets.
